Danielle and I are spending a few days up in Minnesota with Aber and Molly. As is usually the case with this particular friend group, my love of all things Howard Johnson's has been discussed several times. I enjoy it, even though I get laughed at. It's okay, though: I'm used to it.
Anyhow, perhaps this early 1980's-ish advertising campaign is one of the reasons Howard Johnson's began its steady decline into oblivion:

Funny! I remember that commercial. Howard johnsons had awesome milkshakes and pecan pie!
